Welcome to the online training resource for BASICS Education Ltd.

The British Association for Immediate Care is a leading world authority in the development of pre-hospital emergency care and associated training. This site provides a wide range of e-learning modules in emergency care that consists of narrated powerpoint presentations, video teaching, associated publications and a short online multiple choice test to confirm learning.

On successful completion of the multiple choice question paper each module provides a downloadable certificate which can be included in your portfolio of ongoing professional development.

Please browse the various courses and modules available, paying for only those you undertake.

Please note if using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 you will need to use compatibility mode. Further information on this is given in the section on specifications and downloads you will require.

Update 31/1/2018 BASICS Education is currently reviewing and planning new online educational resources. We are therefore stopping new registrations on this site but will continue to maintain this website this year for current users (provided no critical incompatibility occurs between our software and the server).

A few users have had difficulty viewing videos - we would recommend you use VLC player.
